Hello May :)
Leave your shoes here by the carpet. Hand me your jacket...
Make yourself at home, relax, I’m so glad you’re here ❀
May marks the beginning of a big marathon
I’m currently drawing the final pages of my comic book :)
Here is one:
I’m falling in love with my own comic book and all I want is to get lost in it.
I experience lots of emotions while creating it because things are unfolding and gaining direction without me deciding really. The characters are telling me what they want to be doing.
I’ve also been doing YOGA :D
Yoga is so painful…… Don’t you worry, I’m not pushing myself too hard.
The most basic positions are painful, like, stretching my arms up (≖_≖)

But Yoga is also painful mentally. We open our hips and open ourselves by setting a word for the day. At least with Cassandra, my YouTube teacher.
I still haven’t figured out how to not overthink a simple word for the day.
I like the parts when I have to breathe and really be with myself, controlling the pain by letting go of tension
And even though at the beginning it was super hard to follow up the routines, now I recognize the names of the poses and I can simply follow her voice and listen to the music. I can’t say Ooommm without laughing though. So I don’t do that part… yet.
May is also the last month of the Youth Art Studio classes before summer break
I’ve been giving the kids nib pens, china ink brushes, pastel oils and all sorts of ‘‘grown up’’ art materials for them to try. They love it! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
To end May’s Newsletter:
This Month’s Journaling Workshop at Nakano is the 17th at 11h00 (✿◠ᴗ◠)
Thank you for reading, I’ll now read your newsletters as well :)
See you in June

Well done for your comic book... and keep on working hard, I guess. Yoga seems to be so painfull ! You rock !
So many incredible things!
